Erica graduated from the Doctor of Optometry in 2018 after spending more than a quarter of her life at the University of Melbourne. She completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine, majoring in neuroscience in 2014, before commencing the OD immediately after. During the OD she was fortunate enough to experience international optometry and outreach care in both Sri Lanka (as part of a Global Hand Charity mission trip) and in rural South Africa as part of externship. Erica also served as education officer on UMOSS in OD4. After successfully making it back from South Africa last year (which seemed unlikely at times), Erica graduated and commenced working at the Australian College of Optometry this year.
