Nabill Jacob s the Clinical Relationship Manager at Vision Australia. Mr Jacob has held the posts of senior orthoptist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and corneal transplant coordinator at the Save Sight Institute at Sydney Eye Hospital. His interests lie in the advancement of services and clinical understanding in the area of low vision and blindness. Mr Jacob conducts accredited CPD sessions on low vision for ophthalmic registrars, orthoptists, optometrists, general practitioners and allied health professionals. He has also published low vision case studies in medical and optical journals. Mr Jacob is currently on the steering committee of the NSW Health Department’s Agency for Clinical Innovation (Ophthalmology Network), a project to develop a resource for medical, nursing and ancillary staff at public hospitals, and to enhance their understanding of the needs and treatment of patients who are blind or have low vision.
